Pooch Narrowly Avoids Being Hit at Dangerous Downtown Intersection
Wicket was almost hit at the intersection of Merrill St. and Green Bay Rd.
Wicket, this adorable Pomeranian-Shih Tzu mix - a furry local celebrity around town - was almost struck by a car Wed. morning at the intersection of Merrill St. and Green Bay Rd.
His owner said that while they were in the middle of the crosswalk, a driver flew through the intersection. It was so close that the owner at first thought that Wicket had been struck. The owner noted that this isn't the first time that she's seen someone not look both ways while at the intersection.
