ReplyI had nothing but PROBLEMS with Section-8 and therefore will no longer deal with them! The majority of my Section-8 tenants destroyed my beautiful and totally renovated properties! They moved out in the middle of the night, took all my appliances and copper water pipes; and when I tried filing a complaint with Section-8, the complaint form for me to fill out would NEVER arrive and therefore it became a HUGE loss for me. ALSO: Based on my experience, Section-8 tenants are NOT held accountable for destroying your property! Furthermore, in Cook County, a landlord doesn't stand a chance in the court system either when you try to evict a Section-8 or Straight-Rent tenant. My advice to all you wanna-be landlords is, the ONLY people that make $$$$$$$ in the residential rental market is the Court and the Attorneys... The SAFER real estate game is COMMERCIAL (i.e. small strip malls in highly condensed areas with plenty of walk-around traffic).

ReplyWith all the crime out there, now we have police investigating police OVER A BUMPER STICKER? Really??? Wow! I wonder how many millions of dollars were spent for the "Bumper Sticker" investigation... That, I must say, definitely took a BIG bite out of crime! And now these officers are being subjected to Sensitivity Training because of an e-mail featuring a BUMPER STICKER... What a bunch of NONSENSE!!! There is a GAG website called PrankPlace.com and they sell millions of Obama parody gags and NOBODY says a thing... This "Bumper Sticker" e-mail is apparently some sort of vendetta by a former police officer that NOBODY liked and was demoted before pouting like a little girl and then quitting... Can you guess who? You won't need to bring in Lt. Kojak for this one, Baby.......
