About George
I've always been a history buff, and it's amazing how past melds with present in many walks of life. That's my approach -- to see how what happened even decades ago has an effect on the present. I also like discovering interesting angles about people, famous and not, and such a style is a centerpiece of my work. You'd figure I'm a pack rat, and my home is filled with old magazines, audio and video tapes, and various other artifacts that ought to be in a museum. Old is good, although members of my family, seeing the collection, will disagree

Hi George,
I love that you have covered the ordinary and Extraordinary people in our community. I have a great interview for you that will blend music, history and life in Skokie. Eddy 'The Chief' Clearwater will celebrate his birthday with a special concert at SPACE in Evanston on January 28th. Please visit, www.eddyclearwater.com I would love to invite you to do an interview with Skokie's Legendary Blues musician. Most recently the remarkable actor, Sir Patrick Stewart spent 4 hours at Eddy's home talkin' about the Blues, Eddy played some acoustic guitar and Sir Patrick recited Shakespear. I have great photos from that evening in Eddy's home. Hope you will contact me and hope our readers of Skokie Patch will come out to SPACE, 1245 Chicago Ave. on January 28th to see Eddy.... It's gonna be a Rockin' night.

George, I was wondering about the health fair article. Did they still use it as a fundraiser for the MGTV budget? Please see Patch article http://mortongrove.patch.com/articles/village-plans-health-fair-to-benefit-morton-grove-tv Just seems like it was missing from the article.
thanks.
