I've had dogs, and loved dogs, my whole life.  Years ago I was fortunate enough to find a way to help them, and now my volunteer time is filled with pulling dogs that are on the "not much time left" lists at shelters, getting them transported around the country to rescue, getting them vetted and rehabilitated, and finally adopted out to loving families.   There are a lot of people out there doing the same thing.  I blog about them.
