When I am not actively participating in my role as the Director of Lake of the Woods, I spend my time speaking at camp conferences. The typical lecture tends to cover a myriad of topics such as leadership, homesickness to recent trends in camping. My dedication and passion for the industry has landed me several prestigious awards including the ACA-IL Section Special Recognition Award, the ACA-IL Section Honor Award and the Association of Independent Camps Mid America Region Award.
