Two restuarants tied for the bragging rights of "Best Steak in New Trier Township" this week. Frank & Betsie's Restaurant, 51 Green Bay Rd, Glencoe, and Restaurant Michael, 64 Green Bay Rd., Winnetka, both received six votes each. Autumn has swept into the Chicagoland area with the fall equinox on Friday morning. Here at Patch HQ, we're thinking about an autumnal celebration with a dinner date night in our town. Michael, a French and New American restaurant, offers a Groupon deal.
Happy Friday, readers! Groupon and a Winnetka restaurant have teamed up for your weekend's palette: $30 for $60 worth of food. More than 800 people have already snatched up the coupons for Michael, the restaurant at 64 Green Bay Rd. According to the Groupon website, "The restaurant's namesake, Chef Michael Lachowicz, crafts an upscale menu inspired by training at the Culinary Institute of America and years spent sharing spatulas with world-renowned chefs."
