Glencoe School District 35 is planning to convert Central School climate control to geothermal power and is seeking bids, Glencoe News reported. The project could cost an estimated $200,000 to $4.9 million if Misner Auditorium’s heating system is updated along with the rest of the building; the difference in estimate also reflects whether the project is split over two years, according to Glencoe News.
