For questions about this blotter, contact: Chi-an.Chang@Patch.com.  Earlier: Bank Deposit Bag Lifted, Woman Charged with Forgery Burglary Jewelry and silverware valued at more than $10,000 was stolen from a home in the 400 block of Sheridan Road on Dec. 18.  Police said the offenders forced their way into the home.  $10K Loss Due to Identity Theft A resident in the 900 block of Vine Street discovered between Dec. 17 and 19, someone used his personal information to create a fraudulent check and cashed it using his checking account. Earlier: $10K Ring, iPhone Stolen, New Trier Teen Nabbed for Fake ID Theft Three winter coats, a pair of earrings, several silver serving spoons and cash were reported stolen from several locations throughout a home in the 600 block of Garland Ave. between on Oct. 31 and Dec. 10 The loss is estimated at $5,700.  An employee at 811 Elm St. discovered at about 9 p.m. on Dec. 12 that an unsecured bank deposit bag was missing, the amount of loss is estimated at $1,100.
