$10K Ring, iPhone Stolen, New Trier Teen Nabbed for Fake ID

From warrant arrests to a New Trier teen cited for possession of cannabis, here are the latest reports from Winnetka Police Department.

For questions about this blotter, contact: Chi-an.Chang@Patch.com.   Earlier: $10K Stolen Due to Identity Theft, Florida Women Arrested for Fraud  Ring Worth More than $10k Stolen A resident in the 1200 block of Whitebridge Hill Lane reported that between June and Dec. 4 a ring was stolen from his home. The loss exceeds $10,000, police said.  iPhone Theft A woman reported that an iPhone was stolen from her purse at 490 Hibbard Road between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Dec. 8. The loss is estimated at $500, police said.  Warrant Arrest  Lee G. Keirsted, 67, of 688 Green Bay Rd., Winnetka, was arrested Dec. 3 on an outstanding warrant…

Lincolnwood Man Arrested in Connection with Winnetka Theft

For questions about this blotter, contact: Chi-an.Chang@Patch.com.   Warrant Arrest Brandon P. Carver, 25, of 7238 N. Tripp St., Lincolnwood, was arrested by Lincolnwood police on a theft warrant out of Winnetka Police Department at 6900 N. Lincoln Ave. on Oct. 31. Carver was turned over to Winnetka police for processing. He was also charged with possession of a controlled substance, a charge that stems from the original theft investigation, police said.
