New Trier Principal Timothy Dohrer to Resign
Dr. Timothy Dohrer, Winnetka Campus Principal since 2009, will leave at the end of June to take a new position at Northwestern University.
After serving New Trier High School for 23 years, Dr. Timothy Dohrer, Winnetka Campus Principal since 2009, will be resigning at the end of June to take a new position at Northwestern University, according to a press release. District 203 Board of Education approved Dohrer’s resignation Tuesday night, effective July 1 and will begin a search for his replacement. “Tim has been a tireless supporter of New Trier and a valuable leader in a number of roles for more than 20 years,” Dr. Linda Yonke, District 203 Superintendent, said in a statement. “We will miss his leadership, his enthusiasm, and his devotion to the school.
