'Gone Girl' by Gillian Flynn - one of the top-selling books of 2012 - has been selected as the 2013 'One Book Two Villages' pick by the Winnetka-Northfield Library. 'Liar and Spy' by Rebecca Steid has been selected as the children's book. The pick, which was announced in a special unveiling at the Winnetka library on Wednesday, is the tenth book in the "One Book Two Villages" program, which aims to get both Winnetka and Northfield reading and talking about the same book. The library partners with area businesses and organizations to promote the book, and also holds a series of events related to the topic of the book.
