Northfield police and fire fighters responded to a fire at 308 S. Happ Rd., at 11:11 a.m. on Dec. 14. The resident at condo unit 211 discovered fire on the couch last Friday, no one was injured, police said. No one was injured in a fire in Northfield Monday, firefighters rescued the homeowners' pets.
"It would be my first time with exotic fish and eel," said Northfield Fire Chief Michael Nystrand, who worked with aquarian professionals to retrieve the eel and exotic fish from a 500-gallon saltwater fish tank.
