Happ road between Sept. 24 and Oct. 23, according to police. Residential Burglary A French door was broken inside a home in the 200 block of Shadow Woods Lane on Oct. 20. Northfield police are investigating 11 burglaries from motor vehicles throughout the village, according to a press release. The incidents took place during the overnight hours between Oct. 21 and 23 in the areas of the 1700 block of Harding Road and the 100 to 200 blocks of Riverside Drive. Police say all the vehicles were unlocked at the times of the burglaries. Stolen items include GPS devices, prescription drugs, cell phones, manuals and documents, cash, tools, electronics and other items of value. “Most vehicles burglaries have one thing in common: something valuable left in the car.
