Earlier: Northfield Police Investigating 11 Burglaries From Unlocked Vehicles Over 3 Days Theft A 9mm semiautomatic pistol valued at $500 was stolen from a home in the 500 block of N. Happ road between Sept. 24 and Oct. 23, according to police. Residential Burglary A French door was broken inside a home in the 200 block of Shadow Woods Lane on Oct. 20. The victim told police the front door was unlocked and nothing was taken. The cost to repair the French door was estimated at $1,000. Police are still investigating.
