Seven New Trier Football Players Named All Conference

The Trevians had a mediocre season, but some players excelled.

Seven New Trier Trevian football players were recently named to the Central Suburban League All-Conference Team. The Trevians finished second in the Central Suburban League South division with a 6-3 regular season record before bowing out in the first fournd of the state playoffs to Conant High School. Patch's Basketball Rankings - Preseason

New Trier is the top school in our preseason rankings while Loyola Academy falls in the middle of the pack.

Patch sports reporter Ross Jacobson ranks the North Shore’s basketball teams. We’re putting a new twist on our basketball rankings this season. Instead of ranking the boys and girls teams separately, Patch will be putting out an overall “School Basketball Ranking” that takes into consideration the results and news from both teams. With more games each week, there is the chance for greater movement up and down the rankings. We start the season with New Trier on top as both Trevian teams should be conference title contenders. New Trier's boys basketball squad may be the team to beat in the North Shore this season.

As the season shifts from football to basketball, we take a look at the high school season ahead.
