The Village Council chambers, administration offices, city attorney, human resources department, clerk and voter registration offices are located on the second floor.
Before the current building was constructed, the Village Council was housed in Academy Hall from 1899-1925. After that, the Winnetka Fire Department was located in Academy Hall before a new facility was built on the site in 1968.
