My little boy thrives in the environment fostered by the staff and parents of WPSN. It is an incredible school that promotes creativity, imagination, generosity, and free thinking.

What a joy to work in an environment that places such an importance on children's creativity and free thinking within the classroom as well as their collaboration with other children, teachers and parents within the school.
Warm, nurturing and thoughtful place. My children love going to school every morning!
This school is a dream. My children have blossemed into thoughtful and insightful learners. The classrooms and grounds provide not only space to roam freely but also opportunities to play, explore, observe, experiment, question, and learn. I am so grateful that my children had the opportunity to experience such a wonderful preschool
This preschool offers children the opportunity to explore and create in a manner that is meaningful for them as individuals. Research suggests that creativity is the highest form of cognitive function. The children at WPSN are always encouraged to creatively make meaning of their worlds.
Recently visited this school and found it to be an exceptionally calm, creative learning environment. Children appeared happily engaged as I observed a group activity exploring "patterns." The playground offers an interesting variety of playground activities and lots of room for kids to run. Teacher credentials are impressive (see the WPSN website). Winnetka Public School Nursery is a Northshore gem.

We have had a wonderful experience at WPSN. My children loved going to school (and summer camp) each morning. They are now thriving in District 36 largely due to the similar educational philosophy of WPSN and District 36 - which has provided a seamless transition to grade school. I encourage all new families to tour the school and speak with alumni families about their experience!
