One of the larger parks in Winnetka, the Village Green is a large park that has something for everyone, including a field perfect for sports, a playground and a war memorial. These are just a few of the attractions at this park just east of the business district. Village Green was also the location of the first public schoolhouse in Winnetka, which opened October 1, 1859.
