Owner Ann Hines describes the cafe as a community meeting place that offers food that is as "good on the inside as it is on the outside." The shop's passionate approach to baking has yielded fantastic shortbreads, biscotti and intricately decorated cakes. Three Tarts also features cafe-style entrees such as soups, salads and sandwiches that are made from scratch with all-natural ingredients. Custom-made cakes are available for weddings and events.

My studio is a few blocks from Three Tarts and I go there for lunch at least once a week. They have the best soups, always interesting flavors. I love the multigrain rolls that come with the soups. This is a fun place to catch a quick bite and they are always so cheerful and upbeat.
