I have been using Michael's for several year....always reluctantly. The wife is especially rude and unfriendly, and the husband a little bit less so, but still not the nicest guy. They act as if they are doing YOU a favor by fixing your shoes. I heard once, when they moved to Winnetka from Glencoe, that they were anti-Semites. I don't know if that is true, but they are certainly Nazi-like in their attitude and tone. I will NEVER return (I mentioned to them last week that the light in the window was out and that it was hard to tell if they were open or not, and the wife literally ignored my comment, and when I asked her about it, she said the "light had never worked and they had never received complaints about it"! Also, they claimed they could not fix my shoe. I was glad to go elsewhere. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!
