Craft Day, Flea Market and More this Weekend in Winnetka

Make and Take Craft: Kids of all ages are welcome to join the Winnetka Public Library for a Make and Take Craft time on Friday afternoon. The event will be held in the Winnetka Library Lloyd Room. Friday, Aug. 9, 3:30-4:30 p.m., Winnetka Public Library. FREE. 

North Shore Flea Market: While technically this event is a short drive away in Highwood, we definitely recommend checking out the the North Shore Flea Market's "80s Day" this weekend! Admission is free, and food will be available for sale. Sunday, Aug. 11, 9 a.m., Highwood Rec. Center. FREE. 

Northfield Farmer's Market: Check out the wide variety of items available for sale at the Northfield Farmer's Market this weekend! Held across the street from the New Trier High School Northfield campus, there's sure to be something for everyone. Saturday, August 10, 7:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Rain or shine. 6 Happ Rd. FREE. 

Tango Night in the Park: Join the Wilmette Parks District for a Tango Night in the Starlight Theater at the Wallace Bowl. The event begins at 8 p.m. and is part of the District's Dancing in the Parks series. Friday, Aug. 9, 8 p.m. Wallace Bowl. FREE. 

NYC Jazz Quintet in the Park: The Peacetet, a New York City-based jazz quartet, will be playing a free performance in the park on Saturday evening. The concert is presented by the Wilmette Park District and will be held in the Starlight Theater at the Wallace Bowl. Saturday, Aug. 10, 8 p.m., Wallace Bowl. FREE.
