School Bells Ringing: What's Up This Week
It's shaping up to be a big week — here's what you need to know to get through it.
Get Ready, Get Set...Learn!: Monday kicks off the first day of class for many schools in the area, including New Trier High School, Winnetka District 36 schools and Glencoe District 35. Wilmette District 39's first full day is Tuesday. So parents, don't forget to take lots of photos (and post them on Patch here!) of your student ready for class, and everyone be careful of kids in the crosswalk and teen drivers on the road!
Willow Road Construction Continuing: Although it may be beginning to feel like fall, construction season is still in full swing. Details on the ongoing Willow Road construction project can be found here.
Attention Small Business Owners: The Village of Glencoe has reintroduced its Facade Improvement Grant Program for 2014! The efforts aim to beautify downtown and spur economic development. More information is available here.
