Stowaway Kittens Survive Freight Train Trip from Chicago to Edmonton

Two kittens were accidentally sealed in a boxcar of a freight train in Chicago and ended up in Edmonton, Canada.

The kittens, who are doing well according to a CBC News report attached to this post, survived the five day journey with no apparent source of food or water.

No one knows how the kittens ended up sealed in the boxcar. When the train arrived in Edmonton, a worker heard the kittens inside.

The kittens now are in the care of the Edmonton Humane Society.
