Expand the service life of your car

Lives for human beings are limited. So is cars’ service time. You may have owned a favorite car, but you don’t how long can it worked for you. Also, for some others, they may have saved money for long time in order to buy a car. As a result, to make the car work as long as possible is what they have to think about, except the expenses for rising gas prices and very costly repairs. To be frank, it isn’t an easy thing. So, how can we do? Don’t worry, here are the tips!

Most importantly, drive with care every day and your car will reward you with longer intervals without repair. You shouldn’t race your car’s engine during start-up. This is a quick way to add years of wear to your engine, especially if it’s cold outside. Try to accelerate slowly when you begin your drive. The most wear to the engine and drive train occurs in the first ten to twenty minutes of operation. You can also warm the engine of your car by letting it idle in the driveway is not a smart idea. The engine doesn’t operate at its peak temperature, resulting in incomplete fuel combustion, soot deposits on cylinder walls, oil contamination, and ultimately damaged components. Besides, you must a void driving at high speeds and accelerating quickly, especially when it’s very hot or very cold outside. Such driving behavior will result in more frequent repairs.

Another useful tip is to make use of some diagnostic tools  to maintain your car. Basic vehicle maintenance is an ongoing process. The secret to making it "easy" and keeping a vehicle "looking great" involves two components. Each week throughout the year (in addition to the maintenance suggested above) take about 10-15 minutes to focus on a small aspect of the vehicle (i.e., wash the windows-week one, vacuum the carpet-week two, Armor All the dash and the door panels-week three, etc.). After about three months, one of the "small jobs" will need to be repeated. However, the vehicle will never be in rough shape. Doing a "small but thorough" job on one specific aspect of the vehicle each week, requires very little time or energy. Having a vehicle that continually "looks great" makes it worthwhile.

In addition, except the help of useful tools like Launch X431 IV and Launch CRP 123, you should be diligent. I mean, you should wash your car timely. Road salt, sludge and pollution can lead to costly body work. Without regular cleaning, you can start to notice rust on the bottom of your doors within four years. Another three to four years and the corrosion will creep to underbody components, like brake lines. It can cost thousands in rust-related repairs if you neglect to wash your car, especially near ocean/gulf shorelines where the road sand or morning dew might be salty.
