Winnetka native Conor Dwyer returned home Monday with a gold medal around his neck. While he’s excited to have helped Michael Phelps win the most medals in Olympic history, Dwyer’s also ready to relax.
“I definitely need to recharge the batteries a little bit,” Dwyer told Winnetka Talk.
