Conor Dwyer Back in Winnetka, Ready to Relax

The Loyola Academy alum returned home Monday after winning a gold medal as part of the 800-meter freestyle relay in the London Olympics.

Winnetka native Conor Dwyer returned home Monday with a gold medal around his neck. While he’s excited to have helped Michael Phelps win the most medals in Olympic history, Dwyer’s also ready to relax. 

I definitely need to recharge the batteries a little bit,” Dwyer told Winnetka Talk.
