Photo Gallery: Winnetka Celebrates Fall Fest and Whiffle Ball Challege

The on Hibbard Road played host to family fun and friendly competition as the 's Fall Fest heralded the fall season.

The afternoon began with a family bike ride, Bike Winnetka, which ventured all over town. When guests returned to the Skokie Playfields, they grabbed a lunch of hot dogs and burgers and had a variety of activities to chose from, including inflatable games, the Euro Bungee, face painting and temporary tattoos.  The Whiffle Ball Challenge, a sixteen-team tournament style competition, also debuted on Saturday.

"It's just kind of an end of summer, beginning of the new season celebration," said Marianne Schaum, of the Park District. "It's the last hurrah."
