Nielsen Pro Tennis Championship Announces Competitors

The tennis championship takes place in Winnetka June 27-July 2.

The Nielsen Pro Tennis Championship is a few weeks away and the tennis players competing in the tournament were announced this week.

This the the 20th year that the has hosted the $50,000 USTA Pro Circuit Challenger. The players who participate have a world ranking between 40-200 and they compete to improve their rank and advance to bigger tournaments, according to a press release.

Brian Dabul of Argentina was last year's champion and he will be competing this year. So will tournament finalist Tim Smyczek of the United States.
