Grade the Bears Win Over the Giants on NFL Network Thursday Night Football

Who was the difference maker?

For the first time since the glory days of Sid Luckman, Johnny Lujack and Ed Brown over a half-century ago, the Bears offense is carrying the load for a team that sits atop the division.

So begins the NFL.com story on the Thursday Night Football victory of the 4-2 Chicago Bears over the 0-6 New York Giants. Jay Cutler is Sid Luckman? Really?

Brandon Marshall is a believer. And he says Cutler deserves the credit for Thursday night's 27-21 win: "He's unbelievable. He's unbelievable. I'm at a loss for words when I talk about him. Sometimes the light just flips on for a guy." (The Chicago Tribune thought Marshall was the difference maker, by the way.)

What do you think? Is Cutler the difference maker this year? Or is Head Coach Marc Trestman the man? NFL.com posted an amazing take on the Trestman and the change of life he faced in his 50s.
