Weekday computer use, commuting, and/or carpooling restrict the body’s range of movement, and may result in tight hips, shoulders, and possibly a misaligned spine. And, if you are denied athletic freedom by your Monday through Friday grind, you may pack in exercise on the weekend despite unconditioned muscles, joints, ligaments and tendons. Solution? Weekend Warrior Yoga. This class helps you stretch out and feel great after an active weekend, and improves flexibility, mental focus, balance, and oxygen uptake. With attention on breath, alignment, and working from the core, the sequencing of this class is specifically designed to help create a balanced body and mind for the week ahead.
