Do not pack up the swim suits just yet! Tower Road Beach (Tower and Sheridan) will re-open for one more day for families to get together and say goodbye to summer on Saturday, September 8, Luau style. Lifeguards will come back to guard the water from 5 - 7 pm and food will be served throughout the event. From 7 - 8 pm there will be a live luau dance and fire show. To conclude the night there will be a bonfire with popcorn, s’mores, snow cones and a movie starting at 8 pm. Fee is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 4 – 17. Pre-registration is required to through the Winnetka Park District, 540 Hibbard Rd. or online at www.winpark.org to determine how much food will be needed for the event.
