VIDEO: Dogs Provide Audience, Confidence For Young Readers

A local non-profit is helping students become more confident readers and speakers.

Students at Avoca West Elementary School met last week to say goodbye to some very special reading coaches -- three large, gentle dogs.

Throughout the year, a group of students who needed a boost of confidence in reading skills met with the dogs for some extra practice. The dogs are owned by Susan Knaack, who founded a non-profit called Adventures With Bailey.
