The New Trier High School Trevians girls ice hockey team shut out the Lake Forest High School Scouts, 1-0, Friday afternoon in the Illinois high school girls state championship held at the United Center.

Avenging state semifinal losses to the past two seasons, the Trevians rode a second-period goal by freshman Morgan Crane to a 1-0 victory in the Blackhawk Cup State championship battle on Friday afternoon at the United Center.
