New Trier's Freshman Girls Soccer Goes Undefeated
The school's A team had a 22-0-0 record. Coaches said this was the first time it has happened in the school's history.
New Trier's freshman girls soccer A team went undefeated this season, a first for the school.
The team, coached by Craig Fairbairn and Cole Lanham, had a 22-0-0 record.
"At our best, we played a beautiful style of soccer," the coaches said. "In victory, we showed sportsmanship and respect for our opponents."
The 19 Freshman A Team Players included:
Forwards: Molly Cahill, Gertie Harris, Julia Papageorge, Emma Shellenback
Midfielders: Rosemary Adams, Tally Ford, Audrey Fuhr, Katie Huber, Chloe Madvig, Anna Sanfillippo, Julia Schuham, Meg Wozniak
Defenders: Alex Bukovac, Kristin Englelhard, Emma Greenwald, Hailey Kaufman,
Peyton Purcell, Ally Rosenberg, Britney Schuldt
Goalkeeper: Moe Weiner
