New Trier Earns Two Golds at Rowing National Championship

New Trier High School students won the men's freshmen 8+ and women's JV 8+ races at the Scholastic Rowing Association of America Nationals, Wilmette Life reported.

New Trier High School earned two golds at the Scholastic Rowing Association of America Nationals, winning the women’s JV 8+ race in 5 minutes, 4.015 seconds and men’s freshmen 8+ race in 4:37.404, Wilmette Life reported.


The event was held on May 24 and 25 on the Cooper River in Camden, N.J., and this is the first time the New Trier freshmen boys placed first at nationals since 2007, boys freshmen coach Charles A. Richardson was quoted in the newspaper.
