Best-Selling Children's Author Visits Winnetka Nursery School

Sherri Duskey Rinker, co-author of the New York Times bestseller Goodnight, Goodnight, Construction Site and most recently Steam Train, Dream Train, stopped by the Winnetka Community Nursery School (WCNS) on Friday to read and sign copies of her new book. 

Rinker spoke to a group of students — ages two through six — at WCNS about being a mommy and how her son's interesting in construction machines inspired her to write her first book along with author/illustrator Tom Lichtenheld. (Lichtenheld also co-authored Steam Train, Dream Train). Rinker read both books to the students, and signed copies of both books for the students were provided by The Book Stall.
