A Glencoe Official Wants Full-Time Police in Schools

In the wake of the Sandy Hook Elementary school shootings Newtown, Conn., a member of Glencoe Public Safety Commission told Glencoe News that he wants a referendum to fund a full-time police officer in Glencoe’s Central, South and West schools. 

Andrew Berlin says he’s backed by 100 Glencoe residents who agree having cops in Glencoe’s public schools is a good idea, however, the concept is getting mix review among other Glencoe officials, Glencoe News reported.
