Former Lurie Mansion on Sale for $8.75M

The Winnetka home was built for Anne and Robert Lurie and now belongs to the former CEO of the failed Corus Bank.

Philanthropists Anne and Robert Lurie built a 10-bedroom, Mediterranean-style lakefront mansion in Winnetka in the early 1990s, which is now for sale for $8.75 million.

The current owner, the former CEO of the failed Corus Bank, has put the nearly 15,000-square-foot Sheridan Road home on the market, according to an article in Curbed Chicago.

Beyond its 10 bedrooms and 11 baths, it boasts a pool, wine cellar, exercise room and tennis court, according to its listing on Zillow.
