Chicago's Most Expensive Home Back on the Market

The Winnetka mega-mansion is listed for $18.75 million, down from an original asking price of $32 million.

Winnetka’s Le Grand Reve is back on the market for $18.75 million, according to Curbed Chicago.

It was originally listed for $32 million five years ago. But even the reduced price, if it comes close to being met, would make it the most expensive home sale on record in the Chicago area, Crain’s Chicago Business says.

The 27,000-square-foot home was built in 2008 and went up for sale the following year, Curbed Chicago reports. It didn’t sell, nor did it get any suitors at auction, thus the massive price cut.
