The Wall Street Journal has a slideshow of a $1.85 million Tudor home for sale in Glencoe, with lots of great photos and interesting information about the previous owners’ history.
The 5,500-square-foot five-bedroom, five-bath house was once owned by a couple that helped found the area’s first conservative Jewish synagogue and were great proponents of the founding of the state of Israel. Neighbors have said that Israel’s earliest politicians visited the home.
