Winnetka staff originally planned four meetings starting in July to educate residents about the village’s $41 million stormwater improvement plan but trustees said they prefer hosting one large community meeting in September when more financial data will become available, Winnetka Talk reported.
The village would hold a second meeting if it’s needed and residents will receive a special stormwater edition of the Winnetka report in July outlining recent village council actions and proposed projects in the stormwater improvement plan, the newspaper reported.
