Village of Winnetka Seeks Residents' Input for Storm Damage Report

Administrators are hand-delivering notices to "severely impacted areas" on Wednesday morning.

Whether knocking on doors and sending by post, the Village of Winnetka will be requesting flood damage information from residents after the July 23 storm.

The village government plans to send its estimate of flood damages to the Cook County Department of Homeland Security & Emergency management, with the end goal of financial assistance from the state and federal aid for uninsured losses.
