Northfield Village Sticker Deadline Approaching

Applications for new stickers were mailed out to residents in the middle of May and must be displayed by July 1 to avoid penalties.

Residents with vehicles registered to a Northfield address with the Illinois Secretary of State must purchase and display village vehicles stickers by July 1 or incur fees. 

The stickers are currently on sale at from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Passenger vehicle stickers are $50, recreational vehicle stickers cost $60, Antique Cars are $20 and stickers for trailers are priced between $20 and $75.  

Trucks are graded by class and stickers run between $60 and $120 and replacement stickers are $10.

Penalties for residents who do not displace vehicle stickers by the July 1 deadline will be 50-percent of the license fee.

Residents who are 65 years of age or older and who participate in the Circuit Breaker Program can purchase vehicle stickers at a 50-percent reduced rate.
