More than 200 Without Power in Glencoe

The Village of Glencoe released an update at 10 a.m. on Wednesday.

Monday's early morning storm has left some residents without power for the third day in a row, according to a Village of Glencoe press release.

About seven percent of ComEd customers, or 239 customers, in Glencoe do not have electrical power, as of 10 a.m. on Wednesday. This is an , which indicated that 1,150 Glencoe customers did not have power at 12 p.m.

In total, ComEd estimated that 179,000 customers in the Chicago region have outages, and 118,000 of them are located in the northern suburbs.

The Village of Glencoe offers its facilities 24 hours a day, as a charging station for residents who need to charge their computer or mobile devices. In addition, residents can use it as "cooling center."
