Winnetka Park Board to Prioritize the Capital Components of the Skokie Playfield Master Plan

After months of research and data collection, the Winnetka Park District Board of Commissioners is set to review and discuss the Skokie Playfield priorities at the Thursday, January 6 Committee of the Whole Meeting. As the first item of business, the Board will discuss the merits of including an outdoor swimming pool in the Skokie Playfield Master Plan. The meeting will be held at the Winnetka Park District's Community Room, 540 Hibbard Road. The meeting begins at 5:00 pm, but aquatic review and discussion is slated for 7:30 pm.  No formal action will take place that evening. The item will be placed on the Thursday, January 20 Board Meeting agenda, where potential Board action may take place.
