Dold Raises More Than $800,000 in Third Quarter

The campaign reports more than a 70 percent increase from the second quarter totals.

Robert Dold, Republican candidate for the 10th congressional district, has raised more than $800,000 in donations in the third fundraising quarter, according to a release from his campaign.

"These donations reflect the voices of our supporters who are growing in number each day," Dold said. "You can see the increasing support in many ways: a growing volunteer base, record fundraising and more Facebook friends."

His third quarter totals represent more than a 70 percent increase in funding from his total at the end of the second quarter -- about $1,091,000. The campaign raised $513,000 in the first quarter and $578,000 in the second quarter.
