Beachgoers in Winnetka Will Get Pic Snapped First

Winnetka Park District is changing the way it's keeping tabs on the use of its beaches, Chicago Tribune reports.

Any beachgoers heading to Winnetka Park District’s beaches will need to have their photos taken first after the district changed the way it keeps tabs on the use of its beaches--the issue will be discussed at Winnetka Park Board’s meeting tonight, June 13, Chicago Tribune reported.

Winnetka Park District Executive Director Terry Schwartz says the change is for business and safety reasons and will mean beach passes can no longer be shared among friends and reduce the park district’s revenue, the newspaper reported.
