Winnetka Police Blotter: Theft, Drug Paraphernalia, Criminal Damage

LAST WEEK:
Jan. 10
Theft: A victim on the 1000 block of Gage Street reported at 12:45 p.m. that someone opened a locked storage cabinet and took scrap metal, as well as other miscellaneous items. The theft occurred between 2:15 p.m. on Jan. 6 and 11 a.m. on Jan. 7. The amount of loss is estimated at $306.

Criminal Damage: A victim on the 100 block of Green Bay Road reported at 11:01 p.m. that someone hurt the passenger side rear tail light on his car. The damage occurred sometime between 1 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Jan. 10.

Jan. 11
Possession of drug paraphernalia: A 20-year-old from Glencoe was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia on the 800 block of Green Bay Road at 1:25 a.m. The court date is set for Feb. 27.

Theft: A victim at 844 Spruce St. reported at 8:54 a.m. that someone took aluminum stakes from his trucks. The theft occurred sometime between 3:30 p.m. on Jan. 10 and 7:30 a.m. on Jan. 11. The amount of loss is estimated at $600.
Jan. 13
Traffic arrest: A 43-year-old man from Highwood was charged at 8:43 p.m. with driving without a valid driver's license at 100 Green Bay Rd. also cited him for disobeying a stop sign. The court date is Feb. 8.
