Winnetka Police Blotter: Cannabis Activity at New Trier High School

The following information was supplied by the Winnetka Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Jan. 26

Cannabis activity - A 16-year-old male from the New Trier Township area was cited for possession of cannabis on the Winnetka campus of New Trier High School. His court date is scheduled for Feb. 27.

Traffic arrest - A 47-year-old woman from Waukegan was arrested for driving with a suspended drivers license. This arrest was made subsequent to a traffic crash investigation on the 600 block of Green Bay Road. Her court date is scheduled for March 15.

Possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia - A 21-year-old man from Winnetka was arrested for possession of cannabis, ceramic pipes and a metal grinder. This arrest was made subsequent to a investigation of an illegally parked vehicle on the 300 block of Locust Street. His court date is scheduled for Feb. 27.

Theft - A victim reported that someone removed a pair of shoes from a building on the 800 block of Chestnut Court sometime between Dec. 30 and Jan. 7.
