Winnetka Police Blotter: $1000 Locked Bike Stolen

A summary of incidents from Aug. 11 - 13.

August 11

Theft – A man discovered his locked bicycle missing from the bike rack area at 754 Elm Street. This occurred sometime before 5 p.m. The bicycle is described as a men’s Cannondale single speed, red and white in color, with a rear red flashing light and flashing lights in the handlebars. The amount of loss is estimated at $1000.

August 12

Traffic arrest – Daniel J. Osornio, 22, of Calumet City, was arrested for driving without a valid driver’s license on the 1000 block of Oak Street at 11:12 a.m. He was also cited for failure to yield at a stop intersection. His court date is scheduled for Sept. 30.

 

August 13

Traffic arrest – Nery R. Gonzalez-Madrid, 21, of Chicago, was arrested for driving without a valid driver’s license on the 900 block of Willow Road at 4:50 p.m. He was also cited for failure to yield at a stop intersection. His court date is scheduled for Sept. 30.
