Wheaton Woman Arrested For Fighting Two People at a Bar

The following reports were provided by the Northfield and Glencoe police departments. Arrests and charges are accusations, and do not guarantee guilt.

On Jan. 12, officers arrested Brandi J. Van Roekel, 45, of Wheaton, and charged her with battery after a fight at Stormy's Tavern, according to police. Van Roekel fought two other women who came to the bar to speak with her, police say.

Criminal Damage
On Jan. 9, someone working at a construction site on the 500 block of Jefferson Avenue, found sugar poured through the gas cap of a Cat vehicle, according to police. The gate remained locked before and after the sugar incident, and the offender may have hopped the fence to reach the vehicle, police say.

Vehicular Burglary
On Jan. 8, a Glenview resident reported the catalytic converter from her car was stolen while it was parked near Green Bay Road and Linden Avenue, according to police.
